Boarding House Tutors
“As I have already indicated, each housemaster was responsible for a team of tutors and we allocated these tutors according to the strengths of the members of staff and the needs of the pupils. We tried to ensure that every tutor team in each house was balanced between male and female and different abilities and talents. Every member of the academic staff helped in a house every week, tutoring and providing cover so that the housemaster could have some time off.
