The Merchiston Castle School Survivors' Forum is for the benefit of former pupils of Merchiston Castle School—who consider themselves victims and/or survivors of the institution—who want to learn more, make contact with others, and share news. We are here for you and us.

Please follow basic rules of decorum and additionally keep the contents of the focum private—sharing with partners or spouses is expected and acceptable.

Registration is restricted solely to former pupils of Merchiston Castle School. Applicants may be asked to provide sufficient information to verify that they attended the school. We have a Secure Evidence Upload system to keep submissions to this site private.

Forum registration is NOT available to current Merchiston pupils, journalists, current or former members of staff, current or former Governors, or anyone registering on behalf of, or acting as a representative of,  Merchiston Castle School—including legal representatives and their agents.

By registering, you warrant that all information you provide is true, complete and accurate.  Any account obtained by deception will be terminated immediately upon discovery, and appropriate action taken.

Attempting to infiltrate a child abuse survivors' forum is unambiguously creepy—a word that will be repeatedly used in this website's report to your appropriate regulatory body—whether the General Teaching Council for Scotland or the Law Society of Scotland. Heck, we might write a whole lot of letters to everyone we can think of.
